Biography

Eng. Al-Tayyar is the Program Director of the Oil Sustainability Program, leading national efforts to develop innovative and environmentally aligned applications for hydrocarbons. With more than 20 years of experience at Saudi Aramco in process engineering, technology development, commercialization, strategy, and joint venture management, he brings deep technical and leadership expertise to the Ministry of Energy ecosystem. He holds a bachelor’s in chemical engineering from Vanderbilt University and a master’s in engineering and management from MIT, and is an Eisenhower Fellow.
