Degrees Offered

At KAUST Urban Lab, students can pursue their MSc or PhD degrees through a variety of programs. We also offer direct admission to a PhD program for students holding a bachelor’s degree who demonstrate high potential and strong academic performance. Available degrees include:

Elegibility & Admissions Requirements

Prospective students must meet the following criteria for admission to the Urban Lab:

  • MSc Applicants: A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (engineering, environmental science, etc.)
  • PhD Applicants: A master’s degree in a relevant field, or exceptional applicants with a bachelor’s degree can apply directly to the PhD program.
  • Research Potential: Applicants should demonstrate strong research capabilities and an interest in sustainability, urban resilience, or related topics.
