Dr. Campbell is the Senior Vice President of the National Transformation Institute at KAUST, working with researchers and leadership to accelerate the digital economy and expand KAUST’s national impact. He helps build collaborations that leverage KAUST science to benefit the Kingdom. Before KAUST, he served as Executive Chair of Innovate UK, directed Health and Life Sciences, and led major national initiatives during the Covid 19 response. An experienced healthcare entrepreneur, he previously held CEO and senior leadership roles and was appointed OBE for services to innovation.
