Dr. Rolf André Bohne is an expert in sustainable infrastructure, specializing in the environmental impact assessment of buildings and construction materials. His research and consultancy work focus on material flows, eco-efficiency, and the environmental impacts of the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry.
Dr. Bohne is particularly interested in the service life of building components and whole buildings, and he applies Life Cycle Analysis (LCA), Life Cycle Costing (LCC), and Material Flow Analysis (MFA) to evaluate and improve sustainability in the built environment. His work addresses the challenges of reducing environmental impacts while ensuring the long-term functionality and cost-efficiency of buildings and infrastructure.
With extensive experience in environmental impact assessment, Dr. Bohne supports both academic and industry projects, aiming to promote sustainable practices in the AEC sector. His expertise also extends to eco-efficiency, contributing to the development of more sustainable and resilient infrastructure solutions.
