Nasser Ayoub is the Co-founder and CEO of EPD Egypt, a Professor, Senior Environmental Consultant, and Certified LCA Professional accredited by the American Center for Life Cycle Assessment and Global Reporting Initiative. He holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from Tokyo Institute of Technology, specializing in environmentally friendly supply chains and life cycle assessment (LCA).
With over 20 years of experience across seven countries, Prof. Ayoub’s expertise spans sustainability, energy conservation, environmental policy analysis, and LCA. He has contributed to initiatives addressing climate change adaptation and mitigation, energy conservation in buildings, and environmental performance of infrastructure systems. His work includes developing a Risk-Based LCA framework applied to smart grids and transportation infrastructure in Canada and conducting LCAs for energy crop production in the U.S.
Prof. Ayoub is a recognized international delegate, representing Egypt at the UN Leadership Program, and has collaborated on UNDP-funded projects for environmental policy advancement.
