Dr. Muhammad Imran Khan is an energy engineer with over 16 years of experience in engineering operations, sustainable energy development, energy planning, environmental management, and project commissioning. His research is known for its multidisciplinary approach, integrating engineering, economics, and regulatory science to advance low-carbon energy systems. Dr. Khan has published over 105 peer-reviewed articles, with 20 cited more than 100 times, and 12 ranked as Highly Cited Papers by the Web of Science ESI. He has an H-index of 54 and over 7,000 citations, placing him among the top 0.3% of scientists worldwide.
Dr. Khan is a Chartered Engineer (CEng) of the Engineering Council, UK, a Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) of Engineers Australia, and a Fellow of several prestigious organizations, including IMechE (UK) and Engineers Australia.
