Dr. Eyad Masad is a distinguished professor at Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU) in Doha, Qatar, with extensive expertise in constitutive modeling, microstructure analysis, infrastructure material characterization, and pavement systems. Before joining HBKU in 2024, he held a 21-year tenure at Texas A&M University, serving in various roles, including Professor, Director of Global Partnerships at Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station, and Executive Associate Dean at Texas A&M Qatar. Dr. Masad has been recognized globally, being a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science and the American Society of Civil Engineers. His accolades include the James Laurie Prize, NSF Career Award, and Zachry Professorship. With a Ph.D. and M.S. from Washington State University and a B.S. from the University of Jordan, Dr. Masad’s impactful research and leadership continue to shape sustainable innovations in engineering and infrastructure development.
