Venue

The KAUST Workshop will be hosted at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST),  Building 19 (Halls 1, 2 and 3).

To help navigate the event location, you can:

  • Download the KAUST Central App for easy access to event information, campus navigation, and more.

Parking: Attendees using personal or rented vehicles are encouraged to park inside the campus. Vehicles that are not permitted entry should be parked at the Visitor Center.

Shuttle Buses: Shuttle services will operate between the Visitor Center parking, the workshop venue, and the Al-Khozama Hotel. Please note that walking from the hotel to the venue takes at least 15 minutes.

Nearest Airport

KAUST is located in Thuwal, approximately one hour north of Jeddah. The nearest major airport is King Abdulaziz International Airport (JED) in Jeddah, which connects to several international hubs, including Frankfurt, London, New York, and Washington D.C. International attendees are encouraged to use JED as their primary gateway to KAUST.

Transportation

Attendees are responsible for arranging their own transportation between hotels/airports and the conference venue at KAUST, unless otherwise specified if a shuttle service is provided.

For visitors opting to take a taxi to KAUST, please note that external taxis may only reach the Visitor Center. You can arrange transportation through one of the following approved services:
