Matthaios Santamouris is a Professor of High Performance Architecture at UNSW Sydney and a former Professor in the University of Athens, Greece. He is a globally recognised expert in urban climate, building energy efficiency, and overheating mitigation. His research advances sustainable and resilient built environments through innovation in cool materials, passive design strategies, and urban heat adaptation.
