Amjad Azmeer is a Ph.D. student in Environmental Science and Engineering at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), Saudi Arabia. His research examines the role of green infrastructure in strengthening urban resilience in arid climates by evaluating its impacts across multiple scales. He utilizes ENVI-met for microscale simulations and the Weather Research and Forecasting (WRF) model to assess citywide effects of greening interventions. Amjad earned his Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from the National University of Singapore and has prior professional experience with the UN Global Compact and Air Liquide, focusing on sustainability and operations.
