Dr. Tahir is a Postdoctoral Fellow at KAUST specializing in sustainable energy and environmental systems. His expertise covers desalination, life cycle thinking, sustainability assessment, decarbonization, and energy efficiency. With academic and industry experience in Qatar and Saudi Arabia, he works on advancing low carbon technologies and evaluating their environmental performance. His research applies life cycle approaches to identify efficient pathways for reducing emissions and supporting global transitions toward cleaner energy systems and more sustainable resource management.
