At KAUST Urban Lab, sustainability is at the heart of our research, focusing on developing and promoting practices that lead to sustainable urban development. Our goal is to reduce environmental impacts, ensure efficient resource use, and support social and economic growth. Through sustainability assessments, renewable energy integration, and life-cycle thinking, we aim to balance human needs with environmental preservation, aligning with global standards like the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Saudi Vision 2030.
