Pavel Putintsev

Biography

Pavel Putintsev graduated with honors from Lomonosov Moscow State University in 2023, earning a B.Sc. in Physics. During his studies, he worked as a Laboratory Assistant for three years, focusing on silicon nanoparticles in biomedicine at the Laboratory of Physical Methods of Biosensorics and Nanotheranostics. Pavel also completed a Marketing Manager program at the Business School of Lomonosov MSU in 2023. He was recognized with the Increased State Academic Scholarship for his outstanding academic and research achievements. Pavel joined KAUST in August 2023, where he continues to apply his expertise in physics and nanotechnology to his new research endeavors.

Research Interests

Pavel’s research focuses on greenhouse gas emissions and their role in climate change. He analyzes the sources and impacts of various greenhouse gases and develops strategies for their reduction. By investigating emission trends and evaluating mitigation technologies, Pavel enhances understanding of how different sectors contribute to global warming. His research identifies effective measures for minimizing emissions and supports climate goals. Through this work, Pavel advances strategies to address greenhouse gas emissions, promote environmental sustainability, and support global climate change efforts.
