Biography

Krishna Kishore Osuri received the Ph.D. degree in Atmospheric Sciences and Meteorology from Andhra University, Andhra Pradesh, India. He is currently an Associate Professor with the NIT Rourkela, India. His research interests include understanding the processes and improving the prediction of extreme weather events using mesoscale initialization of atmosphere and land surface data. He also involved in understanding urban effects on severe convection and rainfall. His research area is extended to explore how climate extremes evolve in the future climate.
