MASTERS STUDENTS
MSc, Environmental Science and Engineering (September 2026 – December 2028)
Fatimh Almohsin is an M.S. student in Environmental Science and Engineering at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST). She holds dual bachelor's degrees from the University of Arizona, in Urban and Regional Development and in Geography with a focus on Geographical Information Science and Earth Observation. Fatimh’s research interests focus on applying geospatial approaches to make cities more livable, sustainable, and resilient while addressing urban and environmental challenges.
Her interests lie at the intersection of urban development, environmental sustainability, and geospatial science. She is particularly interested in using GIS, remote sensing, Earth observation, and spatial analysis to examine sustainable and resilient cities, climate-related risks, walkability and accessibility, and urban–environment interactions, with the goal of supporting evidence-based decision-making.
